Max and Froggy

man. where to begin...

well the other day I drew these random two characters at my friend 's house seen here [link]

just something random that would surely enter the great halls of "characters zulium does nothing with" but he told me they were cool lookin and i should do a comic about them. i also liked their simple designs and got to work.

i literally had NO IDEA where this comic would go when i wrote the first panel. i just wrote 'are you hungry?' and kept drawing. nothing was planned. it all just kinda fell into place, hence the weird box sizes and layout.

but i do like these characters a lot after fleshing them out a bit so i think i'll keep with them for awhile... until i inevitably lose interest haha.

so a little background:
Maxine 'Max' Jones - is 15. super strength, not very fast, but can take a hit. very bubbly yet also rather bright. her favorite food is burgers and root beer. is a student at high school whom all the other kids dislike for being weird. often times they try to fight her or send giant monsters out to crush her (but not always. this bug monster is just a random one). she has the uncanny ability to control the shape shifting amphibian named Froggy.

Froggy - a samurai toad who can grow, shrink, and mold himself into some weird shapes yet only trusts Max for some reason. his tobacco of choice is a cherry infused blend that lets off a sweet smell. he also fights with a sword that he keeps in his belly, and spits it out when he wants to use it. a man of few words, he CAN say other words besides 'aye' but he very rarely does.

so yea thats it. they fight villains and monsters while Max just tries to get through high school. hopefully expect more cause this was really fun.
